Intimate Wedding Session on a Catamaran with Josie + Jason on Oahu, HI
Josie and Jason met almost seven or eight years ago at work. They both were working at a place similar to Chuck-E-Cheese years ago when they first met. While they didn’t move things too quickly, Josie and Jason always got along well with one another at work. When Jason finally asked Josie to hang out (just the two of them), they totally hit it off and never looked back.
Fast forward eight years later…Josie + Jason contacted us to shoot their intimate wedding on Oahu this past November. After Ryan and I talked to them on the phone, we knew they were a great fit for us. They were super laid back, had an ease about them, and were just thrilled about the idea of getting married in Hawaii. They expressed that they wanted to have their wedding ceremony on a catamaran. It would be an intimate ceremony with only about 30 guests in total and it was absolutely perfect for them.
We loved being able to capture such a beautiful ceremony on the water as we watched the sunset. The lighting was perfect as Josie and Jason repeated their vows and united their lives together. After the sun had set, guests celebrated by eating poke, popping champagne, and munching on other finger foods while everyone gazed at Diamond Head and the shore of Waikiki from a distance.
When the cruise ended, we sent Josie and Jason off with a sparkler tunnel on a beach nearby. As the guests lit their sparklers, fireworks were going off further along the shore. It was a perfect way to end their special day. We couldn’t be more thankful for their positive attitudes and their loving and gentle spirits. We wish you two the happiest marriage!
