Ryan and Lauren booked an adventure session during their honeymoon in Kauai. We went back and forth about the best location for them, and they ended up choosing this epic jungle hike. Although it was so incredibly beautiful, we warned them ahead of time that it was definitely going to be muddy! And guess what?! They were still 100% down.
We had so much fun adventuring around this luscious jungle spot. As we wrapped up shooting and were hiking back down the trail, Ryan and Lauren spotted this epic tree and wanted to explore some more. Ryan and I quickly whipped out our cameras to capture this spontaneous moment.
One of the things I love about elopements and adventure sessions is that you have the time to settle in, relax and really be present for the moments during your day. We always like to add in extra time so that our couples can explore and enjoy their surroundings so that they never feel rushed.
This still goes down as one of the muddiest hikes we’ve done with a couple, and I can’t help but want to do this again sometime soon!
