We had so much fun with Mariell + Stian for their engagement session in Norway. We met these two in Bergen and rode with them to the top of the city on Norway’s national holiday, the 17th of May. On the night of their engagement session, they got to leave the kiddos at home and come hang out with us and we wanted to show them an epic time. As an adventure elopement photographer, Ryan and I are literally always scouting for new locations, especially ones in countries like Norway.
We got to know Mariell + Stian a bit better as we rode the cable car up for about ten minutes. Once we arrived to the top of the mountain, we decided to walk around and capture some candid shots of them in their element. Mariell + Stian were so excited to have their engagement photos done because they would be getting married in just a few weeks. We loved learning about Norway’s national holiday and also got to share sweet treats that they brought us.
We captured various shots throughout the unique mountainous landscapes at the top, and then made our way to the mountain’s edge as the sun began to set. You guys! No joke, the sunset went for a solid hour and a half!! We were freaking out the entire time because the colors kept getting more and more vibrant every time we captured a shot. If anyone is looking to get married or elope in Norway, let us know! This country has some of the most diverse and beautiful sights we’ve ever seen in our lifetime.
